Professor Mankiw's contract with *Fortune Magazine* gives him certain non-exclusive publishing and anthology rights to present, in whole or in part, his *Fortune* articles.   
   
While we generally present a copy of the publishers permission to web-publish, since the permission is included as Item 3 of a confidential contract, it would not be appropriate to post this material on the world-wide web. We have placed a copy of the necessary documentation in our permission management files.
